For today the sanatoria of the Crimea are full on 44, 7 %, this indicator is on 0,8 % lower than the indicator in 2003. According to the Ministry of health resorts and tourism of the Crimean autonomy 127 health resorts from 620 ones still work, or on 15 ones more than last year. 18, 9 thousand people rest in the Crimean sanatoria according to the data on the 12-th of November. Comparing with the same period of the previous year it is on 2 thousand people more. In the Crimea 1 million 81, 4 thousand people have been resting since the beginning of the year. This is on 32, 4 thousand people more comparatively with the same period of the previous year. According to data of the local authorities, there are 629 sanatoria in the Crimea for 150, 695 thousand places. 245 sanatoria are meant for the perennial usage.

Next year in February there will be solemn activities, dedicated to 60 years of the Crimean conference in 1945. One of the central events of forthcoming festivals will become the unveiling of the monument dedicated to the state chiefs as Joseph Stalin, Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt, who took part in the Crimean conference. A prominent sculptor Zurab Tsereteli makes the monument. Only one project from three ones, represented by the artist, was chosen. Its background is a prominent picture with three leaders of the USSR, Great Britain and the USA in the Italian yard of the palace Livadia. They think that the monument should be settled on the green drive to the palace. However, the final decision has not been accepted yet. This monument will become the first monument dedicated to Joseph Stalin after dethronement of the "cult of personality" within the whole post-soviet space. The Presidents of the Russian Federation and Ukraine will be invited to the ceremony of unveiling of the monument. Besides, the line of museum and book exhibitions and the conference of local lore in Saki, a politological conference with participation of prominent scientists of UIS, the USA and Great Britain dealing with the topic "Conference in Yalta: world's fates in a new century" will be organized in the framework of festivals, dedicated to 60 years of the Crimean conference in 1945. The last conference is appointed on the 4-7-th of February 2005.

The health resort Sudak is recognized as the best sanitary establishment in 2004. In Sudak all the plans for this year have been fulfilled. The reconstruction of the summer theater has come to the end. A business-center "A Great Silk Way" has been opened and comfortability of buildings has been improved. This health resort accepted more than 14 thousand holiday-makers last summer. Budget earnings came to more than 3 million grv. Besides, this health resort won a tender for servicing of passes in social insurance. The Crimea is going to accept more than one thousand of veterans of the Great Patriotic War in the nearest future. Four hundred people are going to visit the health resort "Sudak". Such an agreement was concluded between Boris Deich, the Chairman of Verkhovna Rada in the Crimean Republic and the Moscow's Mayor Juriy Luzhkov. In addition, the chairperson of the Crimean parliament thinks that Sudak should become all-the-year-round health resort. Moreover, gasification of the district should help it.

There was a conference in Simferopol' as for development of green rural tourism. The information about the Ukrainian law, the first one in UIS, about development of green rural tourism was discussed. The representatives of the Union dealing with assistance of the green countryside tourism are responsible for the preparation of documents. The project was already registered by Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and accepted in the first reading. The specialists hope that this document should not only develop the branch, but also determine the amount of tourists. Now about ten centers of the rural tourism work in the Crimea, but nobody can approximately say, how many people they serve. The law will help villagers legalize their work. 

The unique ship was lifted from the Dnepr's bottom. This sailing ship was built according to Peter's the First order. The brigantine was found at the end of the 90s after breaking huge waters of the hydroelectric station in Dnepropetrovsk. The Russian musicians Andrew Makarevich initiated the ship's lifting. The realization of the project cost 200 thousand $. The brigantine will occupy the place in the museum of Zaporozhje in a year.
