This train was put into operation in its current view in the period 1994-1998. Today this train consists of eight coaches for 25 tourits (24 double bed accommodations: 12 compartments for 2 persons + 1 single bed room for the tour leader) and 32 persons of the train staff.
Our company has an experience in operation tours with different numbers of clients:
from 12 up to 108. In case the railway tour has more than 25 participants our special train is being joined with sleepng coaches of regular trains (these are comfortable coaches of de-lux class including 9 compartments for 2 persons each, with toilets and washing facilities from both sides of a coach) or with comfortable coach-saloons in former days provided to the leaders of the Communist party of the Soviet state. So let's start our aquaintance with the train-hotel on wheels "Dzherelo".
Coach N1 (N77571-2) - a coach- electric station. Under this number we have a technical coach-electrostation. This coach was built in 1980 in Bryansk. It consists of two electostations operated on diesel oil with the power of 150 kWt (75 + 75 kWt). By cable they are interconnected with all the coaches of the train providing electricity and water heating and etc. while train is stabled or in the evenings when the coaches' generator power is not enough.
Coach N2 (N77571-1) - a shower coach.
This coach was built in 1962 at the Leningrad waggon building works. Up to 1993 this coach was used (but more exactly it was preserved) as a part of a special military train. Later on it was reconstructed and now it consists of:
The coach is equiped with five showers and a cloth room. The halls are made and decorated with leaf-bearing woods. The second part of the coach is for the electrician and shower man compartments; for a boiler and pumps. The total volume of water in this coach is 9 ton which is quite enough for the constant operation of showers and good pressure of water in the system.
Coach N 3 (N16785) - a staff coach
This sleeping coach used for the train staff consists of 8 compartments for 4 persons each (the total number of places 32) as well as a radio compartment equiped with a train radio, a radio station for contact with the loco driver and the dispetcher of the nearest station and also a space telecom system. The train was built in 1971 at the waggon-building works in Ammendorf (Germany).
Coach N4 (N63530) - a restaurant coach
One of the most modern coaches of our train. Manufactured in 1993 in Germany at the Ammendorf works. This is the last coach-restaurant imported to Ukraine before the break up of the USSR and the contects with the German manufacturers of waggons.
This coach is equiped with a splendid kitchen. The restaurant hall accommodates up to 46 clients simultaneously (11 tables for 4 clients a 1 table for 2). The hall is decorated with the Ukraine ornament made of oak.
The restaurant staff: chef, cook, 3-4 waitresses, 1-2 dish cleaners and a cook assistent who is responsible for keeping warm the coaches at winter time and products preparation at night time. The coach is equiped with an air conditioner and a heating system of a combined type (electric and water). There are 4 fridges to keep fresh quite a great volume of products. The meals served include as the Ukraine and European cuisine.
Coach N5 (N63506) - a bar coach
If a restaurant coach N4 is used only for the meals to be served the bar coach N5 is open day and night.
This coach was built in Germany in 1989 in Ammendorf. According to its specifications it is analog of the coach-restaurant N4. The ornament of this coach is birch made. As a supplement this coach is equiped with two TV sets and a video recorder.
In the evening the demonstration of films about Ukraine, the railway history, concerts and etc. takes place. The whole day long tourists can relax in comfortable conditions with a cup of tea or coffe, a glass of beer, champagne or other drinks while sharing their impressions on the trip. The bar coach is being served by two bar-waitresses day and night.
Coach N 6 ( N71459) Musical saloon
This coach was built in 1962 in the Leningrad waggon-building works. It was fully reconstructed in 1995. This coach has a splendid design with the decoration in the Ukraine style made of valuable species of trees, the windows are decorated with velvet curtains, the floor is covered with a palas. The furniture for this coach was specially ordered and includes comfortable chairs, pouffes and round small tables.At a bar (which is in one end of the coach) where one can order any drinks and a stage (in the other end of the coach) decorated in the Ukraine style where the evening entertaiments of the national folk ensemble takes place. Very often tourists participate in this concerts together with the train staff - sing songs and play different instruments.
The coach is equiped with an air conditioner, large windows on both sides of the coach with a splendid survey of nature during the trip. Coach N7 (N14103) - a sleeeping coach This sleeping coach was built in 1969 in Ammendorf (Germany). It was reconstructed and rebuilt at the Zmerinka waggon-building works in 1994. The coach accommodates 11 passengers in 5 two bed compartments and 1 single bed compartment for a tour operator. The coach is decorated with a dark cherry-coloured plastic panels with wooden-made design. Each compartment has two low level beds, a table, a rrirrow. At one end of the coach there is a toilet with a wash basin and and a shower.
At the other end of the coach near the compartment for a tour leader there is a room with two wash basins, a cloth room and a shower.
The coach is provided with an air conditioner and a combined (water and electric) heating system. Coach N8 (N16819) - a sleeping coach. This sleeping coach was built in 1970 in Ammerdorf (Germany). It was completely reconstructed in 1996. This coach consists of 7 double-bed compartments for the total number of 14 clients.
The technical characteristics are the same as for the coach N7. From one side of a coach there is a toilet with a wash basin, from the other - a wash basin, a shower and the room for rest, cloth and shaving…
The coach inrerior is decorated with light plastic panels and woden ornament made of the Ukraine birch, the ornamental flowerports, the frames for mirrows hand-made of rod by national skilled craftsmen. All this makes the coach interior very light and joyful.
This coach is also has an air conditioner and the combined system of heating (water boiler/electric).
EXTRA COACHES
Very often we provide service to the groups of more than 25 clients. In this case our train is being joined with regular coaches of de-lux class. It is a standard coach consisting of 9 compartments with two lower level beds (all together for 18 clients). Toilets and wash basins are in both ends of the coach. For the tourists of the VIP class for extra price we can join comfortable saloon coaches. It is a coach with air conditioner made on the special order of the state leaders. Hall for meals, for discussions and meetings

The coach is equiped with a telephone, TV, audio-and video recorders.
The whole trip long the train is being served by qualified and experienced personnel:
attendants (1 in each coach), an electrician, diesel man, shower man, kitchen staff, a bar waitress, folk ensemble, interpreter, doctor, 2 safe guards and the representative of our company.
