STEAM SAFARY/ RAILFAN TOURS

These tours will cater to the railfans and railroad photographers and may NOT be suitable for tourists, but sometimes we provide the tours which are suitable for both railfans and tourists and will offer plenty of rail photography and sightseeing mixed together.Some of tours are interesting for old disel, electric locos as well as for fan of unusual tracks. "Dzherelo SPK"offers an exciting 8 - 14 day adventure aboard a real steam powered train.Do you need a steam locomotive or the special atmosphere it creates for your film or commercial. We operate fully renovated 14 broad  and 5 narrow guage steam locos ( 7 in our own).. We rent these locomotives also for filming purposes.Your destination can be either  Ukraine, Russia, Belorussia or, due to same track gauge, in Rumania. BATTLEFIELD TOURS

Peace has returned and today the battlefields of the historical wars hide their terrible secrets well, over many years of farming and quiet industry by the local people means that on the surface there can often be very little to show for the carnage and destruction of these wars. Today, what was a desolate wasteland of shell holes and trenches is now innocent farmland and without a guide it is quite literally impossible to even guess at the importance of such places. BIRDWATCHING TOURS

Our trips are planned as ones that we ourselves would like to go on, so they are very strongly oriented toward birds. Our leaders have varied interests in natural history and other more or less closely related fields, but the timing and itinerary of our trips are dictated almost entirely by ornithological considerations.  Group size for the tours ranges from 8 to 12 people plus the leader(s).Birdwatching involves some odd hours and at least a modest amount of physical activity, and we want all participants to understand fully what's required. Birds are most active during the early hours and often we'll have a pre-breakfast walk or an early breakfast before leaving for more distant points. All trips require gentle walking, sometimes for periods of up to six hours. Birdwatching is continuous, of course, and we rest as necessary. At times we climb hills, walk on uneven or wet terrain or push through vegetation. On trips with more than one leader we sometimes have "faster" and "slower" groups. Lunches are often picnics but sometimes we have a sit-down or "fast food" lunch.

HORSE RIDING TOURS

Our trails vary in length and complexity, and we can offer something to suit almost everyone's riding holiday needs. See the beautiful Ukrainian countryside on horseback. Using old drove roads, lanes, fields and woodlands. We can also offer a combined horse riding, fishing,sightseeing of historical places, visiting the famous horse farms in former Russian Empire.

TREKKING , WALKING TOURS

There really is no better way of getting close to nature than to walk your holiday. Our routes encompas a combination of quiet public paths, mountains landscapes and winding country lanes to show you the hidden treasures of Carpathian mountains and Crimea peninsula with wildlife, flowers, streams and woodland. The west Ukraine and South – Crimea peninsula mountains are a walkers paradise. Why not come to these fantastic places, and let us guide you through a magnificent and mystical landscape? All our  walks are graded as grade 1 and grade 2.These  two grades are suitable for most people who are relatively fit and should be within the capabilities of most. A certain amount of flexibility is allowed in the programme to allow for slower pace or bad weather. The walking pace is gentle with adequate stops for sightseeing, photographs and lunch.

WINE -TESTING TOUR

We are in the process of putting together a wine tour for those who wish to learn more about the wonderful wines of the Crimea Peninsula, Black Sea.It will be an one week tour, which will incorporate visits to several wine estates in the area. There will be discussions and tastings with some of the experts from these estates.You will be impression about the local winemaking traditions while visiting the winery at Inkerman ( a new toun of Sevastopol ),wine-tasting halls at Massandra and Livadia palace, unique store-hose of wines (having been stored since 1775), the plant of sparkling wines "New World" (awarded Grand Prix at the Paris Contest 1900…)
