RAIL TOURS BY PRIVATE TRAIN

This page creates more complete impression of our railway tours. These tours are not only for the railwayfans but for ordinary tourists which don't mind travelling in comfortable conditions with relax. Our charter "Dzherelo" train is a real hotel on wheels. It consists of 8 cars (the base train): a diesel-electric station, a shower/sauna car, a staff car, a restaurant, a bar car, a musical saloon, two sleeping cars (with showers). The train can accommodate 25 tourists. For the groups more than 25 we can provide extra comfortable sleeping cars or saloon cars with increased comfort (for 3-5 persons each). Here you can find a few programmes suggested. Of course your programme can be another one, we are ready to provide any tour your like.... "Where there are tracks - the railway exists". Believe us the travel by our train is the best possibility to have a good rest and observe the most remote corners of our country.

27.04 - Sightseeing with visit the places of interest. Lunch at the restaurant "Vavilon". Visit Opera house. Dinner at the hotel restaurant

28.04 - Sightseeing with visit to Kievo-Pecherskaya Lavra, Museum of WW2. Lunch at the local restaurant. Bus transfer to museum of architecture on the open air. Free time. Visit opera house. Accommodation "Dzherelo" train. Overnight transfer to Poltava

29.04 - Sightseeing , visit the battle field and the museum. Lunch at the local restaurant. Folk performance. Train transfer to Zmievka

30.04 - Arrival in Zmievka. Meeting with Swedish families, visit schools and churches.
Lunch in Zmievka. Visit the "Chumak" enterprise. Bus transfer to the memorial hill "Tachanka". On the way to the train stop at the hydro-electric station, vernight transfer to Sevastopol

01.05 -arrival in Sevastopol, meeting by the Russian Navy Band. City sightseeing. Boat tour in the harbour. Lunch at the local restaurant. Visit Hersones and Panorama. Concert of the Navy ensemble. Bus transfer to Yalta. Accommodation "Oreanda" hotel. Dinner at "Tiflis" restaurant.

02.05 - Sightseeing. Bus transfer to "Swallow Nest" for coffe break. Bus transfer to Livadia palace. Lunch at the "Tsar Cuisine" restaurant. Organ concert. Free time for shopping souvenirs. Dinner at the hotel restaurant

03.05 - Bus transfer to Aloopka palace and the park. Bus transfer to Bakhchisaray. Lunch at the Tatar restaurant. Visit the Hkan Palace, mountain church. Transfer to "Dzherelo" train. Overnight transfer to Odessa.

04.05 -Arrival in Odessa. Accommodation "Chernoye More" hotel. Sightseeing. Lunch at the local restaurant. Visit Opera house. Farewell dinner at the restaurant "Londonskaya"

05.05 - Breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Free time. Transfer to airport for flight home.

TOUR 007

" City Breaks tour-Kyiv-Lviv with private luxury saloon-coach"

This short tour as well as the next one - Tour 008 are usually proposed to those who prefer the family holiday or tours in a small company. For tourists transfer we provide a comfortable private saloon-car joining a regular train. In the period of the Soviet Union such saloons were provided to the leaders of the Communist Party and the Soviet State. It consists of a great hall for rest and meals, a study (with a wardrobe, desk, telephone and double-bed) and a few more sleeping compartments; a bathroom with a toilet, bath , shower and washing facilities ; a separate kitchen and a staff compartment (with a separate toilet and washing facilities). Believe us, it is the most comfortable way of travelling by wheels.

Day 1 - Arrival Kyiv. Bus transfer to "Ukraine" hotel ***. Accomodation. Theatre perfomance. Dinner in hotel restourant.

Day 2 — Breakfast in hotel. Bus sightseeing tour. Visit to Kyiv's cathedral including Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Monastery, and St.Sophia. Lunch in local restourant. Free time. Shopping. 20.00 - Accomodation in privat luxury saloon-coach, dinner, railway transfer Kyiv-Lviv.

Day 3 - 08.00 - breakfast in saloon-coach. Arrival to Lviv. Bus sightseeing tour, incl. Lychakivsky cementery, St. George's Cathedral. Lunch in local restourant. Visit Open-air Museum of Folk Architecture (Shevchensky Haj). 20.00 -Departure to Kyiv with saloon-coach. Dinner.

Day 4 - 08.00 - breakfast in saloon-coach. Arr. to Kyiv. By bus visit to National Architecture Museum in Pyrogovo, lunch, transfer to Airport.
